It’s often annoying to steal a bicycle; now, three Chilean engineering students say they have invented the world’s first “never lost” bicycle.
The bicycle abandons the design idea of the traditional external car lock, introduces the bolt concept into the bicycle design, makes the frame form the pin hole, and the seat becomes the movable bar. The two are interlocked and locked, and the lock process is easily completed, and the avoidance is also avoided. The car was stolen - after all, if you want to steal a car, you must first break the frame.
It is reported that this bicycle is called "Yerka", by Juan José Monsalve, an engineering design graduate from Adolfo Ibanez University in Chile, and Christopher. Cristóbal Cabello was co-developed with Andrés Roi.
Mon Salvi said: "All three of us are bicycle lovers. We like to use bicycles as a means of transportation and have fun. But Roy's two bicycles have been stolen a few days ago. A few years ago, we participated in engineering design classes. Being asked to solve the actual commute problem. We took Roy's personal experience as a starting point and started experimenting with various solutions to eventually develop Yerka."
Although the “never lost” bike is a great idea, it has received a lot of negative comments. Some people say that any car lock can be easily opened. Others said that if someone just squats at the car seat, even if they don't steal the car, they will be unable to ride the car because the seat is sunken.
In addition, some critics say that even if the whole car is not stolen, it is a good choice for the thief to remove the tire.
For the criticism, Mon Salvi said they would criticize the improvement of bicycles. At present, Mon Salvi and others are still further research and development of bicycles, trying to use the Bluetooth on the mobile phone for car lock control.
It is reported that the Yerka bicycle will be launched early next year, and its price ranges from 400 US dollars to 1000 US dollars (about RMB 2452 to 6129 yuan).
